McKay we found out is still afraid of the vacuum. When ever we pull the vacuum out he will loose it. He will crawl to the farthest corner of the room and scream at the top of his lungs for help. I worry that our neighbor thinks that we are beating our child. McKay is so close to walking that we are going crazy. He can stand up for as long as he wants but he will not move his legs to walk. Danny has tried many times to nudge him in the back but all that happens is he face plants it and looks at Dad like any child with a broken heart would. Some of the big things that happened this week in McKay's life.... He ate pizza for the first time. Some of Nyssa High School where able to watch McKay go to town on his new favorite food. He learned to go feet first down stairs (head first had a bad result). He wore his first wrist band. Gatorade made an offer that we couldn't pass up. In my opinion the coolest thing that McKay learned to do is take a knee. It is the cutest thing it looks like he is either proposing or in a football huddle. He also got sick this week. He has to take breathing treatments which mean we have to hold him down and make him suck in air that will clear up his lungs.
Jordan is working so hard. She has done an amazing job keeping a home clean and taking care of a one year old. Jordan also is working really hard to build her violin studio. The students that Jordan teaches realize how great she is. Jordan is starting to do pilates and Danny likes what he is seeing. Jordan lost two pounds and is looking so toned. Jordan brought McKay to visit Danny at Nyssa High and Danny was so happy that his students could see his life away from the classroom.
Danny had to travel to Riverside High School in BFE (only to see Riverside put 90 points on Nyssa). I know that South Medford and Oak Hill both scored 90+ points but Riverside is no Oak Hill and Nyssa is a lot better that how they played. The trip was a four hour drive each way and when you add loosing an hour when you go over there the game didn't start tell nine in Nyssa. The bus got into Nyssa around 3:00 am. Needless to say I show no pity to my readers in Medford that complain about driving to Eugene (you are on I-5).
Although it has been a trying week it has also been a fun week. Jordan and Danny are having so much fun together as we watch our little boy grow up. Next week is Jordan birthday and she is looking forward to perhaps a new bathroom.
