Lauren just had her two month check up. She now weight 9 lbs, 9 oz. and is 22 inches long. She is healthy and thriving well. The only thing that isn't sitting well is a heart murmur the doctor found a few weeks ago. We are going to a pediatric cardiologist on Friday to get it check out some more. I'm not super worried though, because McKay had one when he was born and it sealed up quickly on its own. I can not get enough of my baby girl! She is all smiles for me, coos all the time, (that sound melts my heart), and is such a sweet natured little thing. I couldn't decide on just a couple pictures to post, so here's a bunch.
And this little boy really keeps me on my toes. Here he is with his beloved whistle. Once McKay attaches himself to something, there is no going back. Very strong minded. At night he has a hard time leaving the whistle on the toy shelf in the living room (if he takes it in his bedroom, he does not go to sleep). The other night I woke up around 2:00 AM to feed Lauren, and found McKay asleep in front of our door. When I lifted him up to put him back in bed I found the whistle underneath him. He's a die hard. This picture is of his frequent pose while playing 'coach'. I wonder where he got that from!
